Now I feel bad for returning Paris Texas and Rumble Fish without watching them. :( Excellent list, from what I’ve seen. It seems pretty well-rounded and personal to me.
Comment by orpheline January 10, 2009 @ 1:54 amThanks, Orph. :) I was hoping it would come across as such. You should see those two films at some point. When you’re in the mood, of course.
Comment by spengo January 10, 2009 @ 1:56 amVery nice list. I must hunt down the ones I haven’t watched. Also, ‘Rumble Fish’ has to be one of the most visually interesting movies I’ve seen.
Comment by Rob January 10, 2009 @ 2:05 amlet me spank you
Comment by monoursblanc January 10, 2009 @ 2:25 amYour list in numbers:
I’ve seen 9 of them.
Of the nine I hate one, dislike one, like three and love four.
And there are a definitely a few on there that I want to smack myself for not having seen, so well done!
Comment by Circus Freak January 10, 2009 @ 12:20 pmExcellent. I’m all for smacking oneself.
Comment by spengo January 10, 2009 @ 2:48 pmI can’t tell you how great it is to see After Hours get some respect. :D
I don’t dislike any of those films, I’m admitedly lukewarm on Eternal Sunshine and especially Barry Lyndon. But I like it. Good list.

Comment by moogirl22 February 2, 2009 @ 6:48 amI love that The Long Goodbye, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Paris, Texas are on this list. The latter two are in my top 10 I think.
